Experience Designer and Movement Enthusiast

Who Am I?

Dreamer | Fun-seeker | Passionate | Eager | Motivated | Team-player | Initiator

I am an UX Designer currently based in Istanbul. I have been working professionally since February 2017 first in an UX design agency and now in a product based company starting from May 2018. However, my introduction to UX, interaction design and service was long before.

I have discovered my passion towards these areas in 2013, when I was in the Netherlands as an exchange student. Being an exchange student in TUDelft is my milestone in terms of rediscovering myself and where design can lead me. My design background was followed by business studies resulted in earning MBA.

With the hands-on and academic experience I gained about UX and interaction design as well as business field, I wish to connect people, business and technology in unique yet instinctive ways.

I am also taking part in voluntary projects out-side work. I am one of the co-creators of UX Folks which is is like a user-centered, content-driven Lego bricks consisting of designers from different companies. As Team Folks, we curate our events with the units already defined, by analyzing audience needs and sparks from the local scene. In addition, I contribute as facilitator/mentor in workshops with NGOs like Karakutu and associations like TurkishWIN.

Living in Istanbul now teaches me about distinctive differences among many cultures and gives me opportunities to unite them around good experiences. As a story maker, my aim is to enhance people's lives by learning from their stories and designing meaningful, enjoyable and dynamic products and services for them.
